Top trends of Instagram 2020

Hi Everone,

Today we want to talk about top trends of Instagram in 2020.

In this decade, Instagram will go even further from being just a social platform and grow deeper into a great tool to promote your business and boost brand awareness. It will become even more of an e-commerce platform and will shift its focus more on videos.

1. Videos videos videos! And… yes! MORE VIDEOS! Why? We will have a separate blog post that will be dedicated to videos. For now, please be aware that to produce these videos, you don’t have to have super skills in video editing. This trend will be more of a “real-time” and authentic. Also consider the fact, that developers never sleep! They work on new applications every day. So you can use your iPhone, combined with apps for video editing. It will work as a powerful tool for your business. In 2020, try to post 3-7sec. videos instead of photos and just see what happens. Videos have bigger engagement, and it is more likely to get into the “recommendation” section.

2. Hidden likes. I know that we, Aussies, have had this feature for months. However, Instagram will improve the system with hidden likes even more. The whole point of it is to make people less worried about how many likes they get, and also to get them to post more! That's why it doesn't matter how many likes you have. In Instagram world your engagement and reach statistics show how interesting and successful your blog/shop is.

3.Filters for stories. 2019 was a year were Instagram users could create filters. So this option became widely popular. In 2020 brands and influencers will create more filters and facemasks. If you are planning to build your brand on Instagram, consider having your branded facemask, or filter.

4. Saying “Goodbye” to unrealistic photo editing. The days of super pumped saturation and bright colors are gone. Instead, try to choose soft, warm filters that will give your page a natural look and present colors of your brand well.

5. Reposting. Thanks to the “reposting” feature of Instagram it becomes more and more popular to repost photos and videos of your followers. This way you create a closer relationship with your followers and build trust. It’s always nice to get attention from the brand/person you like and follow. Try to do more of that in 2020

What do you guys think? Will it be hard or easy to follow those trends? What would be the hardest part?
